29 women honoured at Bharat Ke Anmol 2025 awards

A total of 29 women were honoured at Bharat Ke Anmol 2025 awards on Thursday (February 13) to recognise their contributions in diverse fields and to mark National Women’s Day in Hyderabad.

The awards were presented across 22 categories, including political administration, fashion and beauty, journalism, law administration, good governance, travel and hospitality, medical support and rescue management, music, medical management and music among others.

The awards were presented by actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Member of the Legislative Council Kalvakuntla Kavitha, and Telangana State Women’s Commission Chairperson Nerella Sharada, chairperson of the Telangana State Women’s Commission.

While Komal Singh Manhas and Mruttika Banerjee were recognised for their contributions to journalism, Jyoti and Mamta Mohanta were honoured for their work in political administration.

In the field of fashion and beauty, Mizba Aga and Chandni Sharma received accolades, while entrepreneurship awards went to Roopa Maganti and Karne Sirisha. Philanthropy was represented by Mufeeda Begum, and women empowerment awards were bestowed upon Shree Ananya Gaddam and Prof. Dr. Sumana Srinivasan.

Medical and legal administration honourees included Dr. Najafi Begum and Md. Naseema Begum, while K. Leelalaxma Reddy was recognised for her contributions to the green revolution. Renowned musician Veena Srivani was also among the distinguished awardees. Retired IAS Officer K. Ratna Prabha was recognised for good governance while Loretta Nadar represented the travel and hospitality domain. Avani Veeramaneni, recognised for car racing, was among the younger awardees on Thursday night.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred upon Padma Shri Dr. G. Padmaja Reddy and Dr. Jareena Begum for their remarkable contributions to dance and health and beauty domains.
