At least 15 persons were injured in a blast in a private hotel in Saundatti in Belagavi district of Karnataka on August 13.
Onlookers alerted the police after noticing smoke coming out of the building. Police sought help from the fire and emergency services unit in Saundatti.
A fire tender truck was rushed to the site.
The hotel owner told reporters that he has suffered huge losses.
