NEW DELHI: A three-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Saturday and around 10 people are feared trapped under the debris.
The incident at Lucknow’s Transport Nagar area occurred when work was being carried out in the building’s basement.
As per preliminary reports ten injured individuals have been admitted to hospital.
The building, known as Harmilap Building was used for pharmaceutical business.

Teams from the NDRF, SDRF, police administration, and the revenue department are present on the spot.
Taking cognisance of the incident, chief minister Yogi Adityanath directed district officials to ensure that the injured are immediately taken to the hospital and receive appropriate medical care.
The CM has also instructed district authorities to accelerate relief efforts by reaching the site as soon as possible.
