Readers would be aware that Prateik Patil Babbar and Elli AvrRam are coming together for a one-of-a-kind short musical film Beinteha. Ahead of its release, the makers have unveiled one of the songs from this upcoming romantic-action entertainer on September 9 on social media. Interestingly, it is a remix of the cult classic ‘Tere Dar Pe Sanam’ originally created for the film Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee (1993). As the song hit the tube earlier this week, Prateik Patil Babbar has shared his excitement and expressed happiness over being a part of the remake of the beloved 90s song.

Speaking about the same, he said, “I feel absolutely ecstatic to be a part of the remake because the song and the entire album were such a huge hit in the 90s. And the recall value will be so special and nostalgic because it will take everyone right back to those days when they first heard it.” While the new version features Prateik Patil Babbar and Elli AvrRam, the original was picturized on Rahul Roy and Pooja Bhatt.
Further speaking of the song, it was originally composed by Anu Malik with Kumar Sanu lending the vocals and written by Qateel Shafai. Coming to the new version, composed by KS Abhishek and written by him along with A Bazz, the song is sung by Dev Negi and Neeti Mohan. “The singers have given it an extremely fresh twist. It’s very modern at the same time being in sync with the original album,” he added.
Prateik Patil Babbar maintained that he and Elli AvrRam have not only brought their own unique energy to ‘Tere Dar Pe Sanam’, along with a fresh twist but they have also retained portions of the original, as a tribute to the classic chartbuster. As for the musical short film Beinteha, it is releasing on Tips YouTube Channel on September 13.
