Mr. McMahon | Official Trailer | Netflix

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently discussed the upcoming Vince McMahon documentary and the debut of WWE Raw on Netflix during his “83 Weeks” podcast. He speculated that the timing of both projects could potentially cause tension between WWE and Netflix if they end up conflicting.
Eric Bischoff Stated :
“I’m confused, The situation is confusing for me. This is Netflix, who just signed a $5 billion deal with WWE. The ink is still drying, they haven’t even had their first show yet, but Netflix is going to take, what has been the face of WWE, and they’re going to expose him to the world in a way that is not going to be flattering to the brand. One would think it would not be flattering to the brand.” (Via 83 Weeks/Wrestling Inc)
Bischoff thinks Netflix might be releasing the Vince McMahon documentary in September so any negative news can be forgotten by the time “Raw” starts streaming in January. This would also give WWE’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings, a chance to distance themselves from McMahon.
Bischoff Added:
“There’s no need to do this, unless there’s a reason for it — to further distance TKO from Vince McMahon,” Bischoff said. “Otherwise it’s just confusing as hell.” (Via 83 Weeks/Wrestling Inc)

Let’s wait and see how things unfold with McMahon’s documentary series. McMahon stepped down from his WWE roles following serious allegations, including sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking by former employee Janel Grant. Meanwhile, WWE is entering a new era, as WWE Raw will begin streaming on Netflix starting in January 2025.
