NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have retained 14 players, including six overseas players, for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season. The retained players include captain Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, and Richa Ghosh.
RCB’s retention strategy prioritizes continuity and team cohesion, retaining the core of their championship-winning team from WPL 2024. The team aims to maintain its winning spirit and dynamic playing style.
Head Coach Luke Williams emphasized the balance between retaining key players and creating opportunities for new talent in the upcoming auction. He thanked the released players for their contributions.
