Orders issued appointing Burra Venkatesham as TGPSC Chairman; to hold office for six years

Telangana government released orders appointing Principal Secretary (Education) Burra Venkatesham as the new chairman of Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC). His service begins from the date of assumption of charge. The incumbent chairman M. Mahender Reddy will retire on December 3, Tuesday. According to the order, Mr. Venkatesham will hold the office for a term of six years from the date of his assuming the charge or till attaining the age of 62, whichever is earlier.

Earlier, Mr. Venkatesham was redesignated as the Special Chief Secretary rank. He will now retire as the Special Chief Secretary before taking charge as the TGPSC Chairman.
