JAIPUR: PM Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow with French President Emmanuel Macron in Jaipur on Jan 25 on the eve of the latter’s visit as chief guest to the 75th Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi.
Macron’s Jaipur itinerary includes visits to the city’s palaces and forts, a banquet hosted by the PM at one of the sites and bilateral talks.
Rajasthan chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a high-level meeting on Friday to review preparations for Macron’s trip, including a grand Jaipur welcome on Jan 25.
Sharma has asked officials to take special care of Macron and complete security arrangements for the VIP routes and sites.
