Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and his wife have recently participated in a very generous act of kindness. The Currys have an organization called “Eat.Learn.Play” and through this, Stephen and Ayesha have donated $500,000 to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. They are hoping to provide one million meals to the needy with this massive donation.
This is nothing new though. The Currys have been continuing their “Christmas with the Currys” tradition for 12 years in a row now where they make Christmas happy for those who need some loving.
If you thought the one million meals was going to be the end of the Currys’ generosity, you would be gravely mistaken. Stephen and Ayesha have also decided to light up Christmas for the families in Oakland. They are donating $200,000 in grocery gift cards to 1,000 Oakland families. The family is also looking to support local elementary schools and improve the lives of 300 students.

Play., we were thrilled to kick off our 12th annual Christmas with the Currys with a day full of joy, creativity, and connection. From a pop-up book fair, games, and crafts to the unveiling of Madison Park’s newly refreshed library, the day was nothing short of magical!” read a post from the Currys’ foundation.
There were many of fun things for kids and families to do at Madison Park Academy. A pop-up book fair, games, and crafts were enjoyed by the students, and the opening of the school’s renovated library added another reason for the kids to smile.

Both Steph and Ayesha dressed according to the holiday vibe. Staying true to the festive spirit, Steph wore a red sweater and Ayesha a green jacket. The Currys are not new with their charitable involvement as they frequently show up at events to interact directly with kids and families.

Aside from their charitable work, The Currys continue to be one of the NBA’s most respected power couples. Having initially met at a church function when Steph was 14 and Ayesha was 13, they have been together for over 20 years. Since then, their romance has only grown without ever looking back, and in 2011 they were married. They currently have three children together: Canon W. Jack (born July 2, 2018), Riley Elizabeth (born July 19, 2012), and Ryan Carson (born July 10, 2015).
Coming back to the annual “Christmas with the Currys” celebration, this has become a custom for the family and shows how big their hearts truly are. Thanks to Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry, there are thousands of people who get a reason to be happy on Christmas every year.
