Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to visit Polavaram project on December 16

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit the Polavaram irrigation project on December 16 and review the progress of works, according to Eluru district Collector Vetriselvi K.

Mr. Naidu will inspect the diaphragm wall, crest gates, spillway, and other works. Later, he will review the status of the project with the officials.

Ms. Vetriselvi, along with Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore, Joint Collector P. Dathri Reddy and Polavaram Project Chief Engineer Narasimha Murthy, visited the project site on December 14, 2024 (Saturday).

Mr. Kishore directed Additional Superintendent of Police N. Suryachandra Rao and Polavaram Deputy Superintendent of Police M. Venkateswara Rao to make all security arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit.
