Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday launched whey protein-enriched idli/dosa batter prepared by the Karnataka Milk Federation under its brand name Nandini.
The product was officially launched at the Vidhana Soudha by Mr. Siddaramaiah in the presence of Ministers K. Venkatesh, Krishna Byre Gowda, and Dinesh Gundu Rao.
A release from the Chief Minister’s Office said that the batter will comprise 5% whey protein, and will be made available in the Bengaluru market on a pilot basis before it is extended to other places. The KMF will make the batter available in 450 g and 900 g packets.
KMF recently launched its milk and other products in New Delhi and other markets outside Karnataka.
