NOIDA: Swami Chidananda Giri, president and spiritual head of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India/Self-Realization Fellowship, concluded the Noida leg of his visit to India and Nepal on Thursday. In a public satsanga held at Paramahansa Yogananda’s YSS ashram in Sector 62, which was attended by over 2,000 devotees and disciples, Giri expounded on the Kriya Yoga technique.
“Within each of us lies a reservoir of infinite potential, waiting to be realised, and meditation is the key that unlocks this hidden treasure, guiding us towards the highest expression of our true selves,” said Giri in the last leg of his India tour before he returns to Los Angeles.
Striking a chord with the audience, aSpeaking on the scientific aspect of Kriya Yoga propagated by Paramhansa Yogananda, Giri said, “It effects a spiritual photosynthesis by allowing divine grace to permeate through mind, body, and soul, thereby nourishing the soul and the world. The cosmic vibration generated in the process helps negate the effects of destructive vibrations, which are detrimental to oneself.”
