ISL 2025-26: Argentine forward Pereyra Diaz leaves Bengaluru FC on free transfer

Argentine forward Jorge Pereyra Diaz will be leave Bengaluru FC after his contract expires this month, the Indian Super League (ISL) club announced o Thursday.

He played 24 times for the Blues across all competitions last season, scoring and assisting six goals each, as the club reached the semifinals of ISL Cup.

“For the crazy goals, the wild celebrations, the unstoppable energy. Gracias, Jorge!” the club said on social media.

It was the third ISL club for Pereyra Diaz, who moved to India, on loan with Kerala Blasters,. He helped it reach the Cup final in his debut season in the league, in 2022.

He moved to Mumbai City FC (MCFC) the next season, becoming a formidable force in attack, as the Islanders won the League Winners’ Shield in 2023 and the ISL Cup a year later.

However, MCFC signed Nikos Karelis ahead of last season, with Perera Diaz consequently moving to Bengaluru FC.
