The United States hosts the big-budget reboot of the FIFA Club World Cup, featuring 32 of the highest-ranked teams from world football. The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami will launch the showpiece on June 14.
Major League Soccer team Inter Miami — co-owned by David Beckham and captained by Lionel Messi — is the official hosts, and opens the tournament against African champion Al Ahly in Miami Gardens, before facing contests with Porto and Palmeiras, the other teams in Group A.
Who will play FIFA Club World Cup 2025?
A total of 32 teams will compete, with places distributed as follows between the international football confederations.
- Africa: 4 CAF teams.
- Asia: 4 AFC teams.
- Europe: 12 UEFA teams.
- North and Central America, Caribbean: 4 Concacaf teams (plus Inter Miami as hosts)
- Oceania: 1 OFC team. Via ranking pathway.
- South America: 6 CONMEBOL teams
