Actor Tejasswi Prakash has finally addressed persistent rumours surrounding her relationship with fellow actor Karan Kundrra, making it clear that there’s no trouble in paradise – but also no wedding bells in the near future. Speaking at the launch of The Surreal Collection at a hair show by Godrej Professional in Delhi, Tejasswi opened up about the ongoing public interest in her personal life, her relationship with fans, and her current professional priorities.

“I love it when people like me for the person I am. And it is a lot better when they actually have a sense of the fact that I’m just not a celebrity whom they like. I’m also an artist, and I don’t ever want people to forget that,” she shared, subtly redirecting attention back to her craft.
Tejasswi and Karan Kundrra, popularly known as TejRan by their loyal fanbase, met during their stint on Bigg Boss 15 and have been in a steady relationship since. Their chemistry, both on and off screen, has made them one of television’s most adored couples. However, recent speculation began swirling after fans noticed the two haven’t collaborated on promotional events leading to assumptions about a possible rift.
When asked directly about the focus on her personal life, Tejasswi responded with calm clarity: “I know that there is a lot of focus on my personal life… But I don’t think the entire focus is just on that.”
She also acknowledged the constant buzz around their relationship online, with fans often speculating about their future together. “I know our fans keep themselves entertained. And that’s fine. I’m okay with that. We find it funny. We actually laugh at it,” she said with a smile.
And as for the million-dollar question—marriage? Tejasswi set the record straight: “No, that’s not the plan,” she confirmed.
The actress also revealed her current priority lies in preparing for her next project. “Honestly, the goal that I am working towards right now is losing some weight for my next project. That’s literally the only thing I am working towards,” she said.
With her characteristic charm and grounded perspective, Tejasswi reminded fans that while her personal life may be in the spotlight, her focus remains firmly on her journey as an artist.
