Sagar MLA Belur Gopal Krishna has suggested resignation by the Minister concerned to face an inquiry in view of allegations of corruption in allotting houses to the poor in Karnataka.

Speaking to press persons in Shivamogga on June 23, the Congress MLA said that the issue is serious as a senior legislator of the ruling party had made the allegation. The audio clip of the telephonic conversation had gone viral.

“Whenever allegations were made in the past, ministers resigned. Similarly, this time, whoever is the minister should face an inquiry after resigning. If proved innocent in the inquiry, he could be re-inducted in the cabinet,” he said.
