Mahindra has shared a new teaser across its social media handles, hinting at a feature-loaded update for the Scorpio-N SUV. While the teaser doesn’t reveal the vehicle in full, a graphic showing lane markings alongside the phrase “Power always stays on course” hints at the inclusion of ADAS Level 2 suite for the popular model. Here’s a look at what we can expect from the updated SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio N ADAS upgrade: What to expect
Among the standout features expected in this upcoming version are reportedly a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera system. These additions, combined with the ADAS suite, are likely to be present in the higher-end variants of the model. The Scorpio-N already boasts six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold and descent control, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX mounts. Higher trims such as the Z8 also get tyre pressure monitoring.
The ADAS suite is expected to bring features similar to those seen in the Mahindra XUV700 and Thar Roxx, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning. Though Mahindra hasn’t confirmed the full list yet, the teaser gives a strong indication of what’s coming.Mechanically, the Scorpio-N will remain unchanged. It will continue with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the Scorpio-N currently range from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 25.15 lakh, ex-showroom, with eight variants on offer.
