MUMBAI: Two woman died after a portion of a wall collapsed in a slum at Antop Hill in Wadala on Friday night at 9.27 pm.
The accident took place at at Panja gully in Vijay Nagar, Antop hill area. The local fire brigade, ward level staff, police and ambulance has been rushed to the site.
The deceased were taken to civic run Sion hospital where both were declared as brought dead.
The deceased women have been identified as Zakirunisa Shaikh, 50 and Shobadevi Mourya, 45. “The wall portion of the second and third floor of the hut partially collapsed and one portion was still found hanging precariously,” said a civic official.
