BHOPAL : The two skeletons discovered inside a car pulled from Kwari River in MP’s Morena on Tuesday have been identified as the remains of Mithlesh and her relative Neeraj Jatav from Ambah town, around 20km from the crash site.
According to police, the couple were believed to be in a relationship and had ‘eloped’ four and a half months ago. Mithlesh’s husband, Mukesh, reported her missing at Ambah police station soon after her disappearance on Feb 6, 2024.Neeraj’s family, however, initially downplayed his absence, claiming the couple would return shortly.
The car emerged from the depths when a stop dam was opened near Gopi village, around 65km from Gwalior, on Tuesday.
