A 17-year-old from Bihar‘s Bhagalpur, who was preparing for NEET-UG at a coaching institute in Kota, died by suicide on Thursday. This is the 12th case of suicide by a coaching student in Kota this year, where 26 students had taken the extreme step in 2023. Autopsy is yet to be conducted as police are awaiting the parents’ arrival. Cops have informed his family, ASI Shambhu Dayal said.
