Sumbul Touqeer took to her Instagram story to inform her fans about her health, revealing that she has been diagnosed with typhoid. The actress, resting in her room on the sets of ‘Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’ with an IV in her hand, shared a photo with the caption, “Dear typhoid, get lost.” She reassured her followers by saying, “Don’t worry, guys. I’m feeling better now.”

Sumbul Touqeer had posted an Insta story about her health update. We reached out to her and she said, “I got typhoid and given the current monsoon havoc it wasn’t easy to handle. Recovery mode is on. I am thankful for audiences of Kavvya and fans from all over the world who wish good health and success for me regularly. I am thankful to Kavya audiences for showering love towards my character. The show must go on.”
Sumbul has been entertaining fans with her acting skills and the show is loved by fans for its engaging story line. Despite being unwell, the actress continued shooting and did not let her work suffer.
Recently, Sumbul expressed concerns about the environment, mentioning that decreasing rainfall and climate change are significant problems.
“I feel only we humans can be the change. We need to save water, plant more trees, and avoid using plastic. Nature heals us, but if we don’t save it, we will not be blessed and healed by nature. In fact, my father has made a small garden on our house balcony, and it feels so fresh every morning. We sit near the plants, and it feels very fresh. I also love to read my books on the balcony,” she added.
Speaking about her love for the rain, Sumbul shared: “Rains have something special in them. Tea, pakoras, and Maggie with family and close friends on a rainy day is the best combination. When we are on set and it rains, the whole team comes together and has so much fun. We also get to have pakoras on set. Getting wet in the rain is a different moment.
