The wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, to Radhika Merchant has taken the title of the biggest celebration of the year. Held on Friday, the ceremony marked the culmination of a week-long series of festivities. The guest list itself was a star-studded spectacle. Bollywood A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and the Kapoor sisters, Janhvi and Khushi, were all present, adding their own touch of glamour to the occasion. The event wasn’t just about entertainment; business tycoons and political dignitaries from across the globe were also seen mingling with the who’s who of India.

For the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on Saturday, Janhvi Kapoor was a vision in a stunning creation by designer Tarun Tahiliani. Her attire, part of Tahiliani’s upcoming bridal couture collection for 2024, was a breathtaking piece of art nouveau inspiration. The hand-embroidered, structured skirt flowed dramatically, adorned with crystals, pearls, and sequins. A complementing crystal-embellished corset and attached drape wings completed the ethereal look.
For make-up, she opted for a cleaner look with shimmery eyes and lips. The diamond danglers and open hair rounded her look. For accessories, she only wore rings on her fingers and let the outfit do the talking.
Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi’s younger sister, also opted for a Tahiliani creation. Her floral embroidered lehenga, based on a resham and zari lace foundation, was a masterpiece of intricate detailing. Beads, crystals, pearls, and sequins further embellished the garment, paired with a stylishly draped blouse and an embellished belt featuring a statement TT Jewelled brooch. Both of them were styled by Ami Patel.
Even Khushi opted for a softer look with glossy lips. For accessories, she went for a choker diamond necklace, earrings and rings. Tied her hair in a messy bun, she rounded the look with a potli heart-shaped bag.
The celebrations for Anant and Radhika are far from over. A reception has been planned for Sunday, July 14.
