Deadpool & Wolverine is here to stay, and for long. While one still waits for a Bollywood film to bring in audiences in hordes, this Hollywood superhero flick is filling the void, and that too in style, what with another huge day at the box office. The first day was anyways quite fantastic when Rs. 20 crores mark was crossed and now this has happened on Saturday as well. That’s really superb because it further goes on to show that when there is some really solid excitement generated amongst audiences for a film, then they accept it wholeheartedly.

Deadpool & Wolverine Box Office: Film keeps excitement going in theatres, has another huge day on Saturday

This was seen on Saturday when a massive 22.68 crores more came in. When the film released on Friday then there was huge hype already around it but this Saturday crowd is now coming in due to all around positive word of mouth that has been generated by the film. To think of it, this is an R rated film from Hollywood and has blood splashing from all directions. Moreover, there are profanities abound. However, since all of that has been done in the garb of humour, it’s not coming across to be as offensive. Moreover, those who are stepping in for the film are well aware of what to expect and that’s where the acceptance is further coming in.

As a result, the film has now already gathered Rs. 43.68 crores in just two days and it’s more than the lifetime of 80% of notable films that have released this year. There is a big Sunday round the corner as well and while Rs. 65 crores is set to be surpassed rather comfortably by the close of the weekend, it would be truly amazing if by some luck it can even stretch towards Rs. 70 crores mark. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have delivered a big hit here and while an entry into the Rs. 100 Crores Club is just a matter of time, one just waits to see how much further to Rs. 150 crores will it eventually travel.
