“He’s going to be gone all of 2025, half of 2026, if all goes well with the surgery and rehab, but I do want to start there with what happened last year. This felt like, from a lot of Yankees fans’ perspective, a ticking time bomb because elbows are, you know, how it goes, especially in this sport; they can go at any moment, and when you already have a precursor like he did last year, you know it was a little.”
He further mentioned:
“I don’t want to say shadow games being played, but we didn’t know exactly what was going on in the elbow, and then they hear the nerve inflammation, but it gets you nervous because you’re like, But wait a second, could he still need Tommy John in the future, like what’s the deal with the UCL and now all off season you?”
