Saurabh Bhardwaj alleges that during Delhi LG’s visit to Satbari on February 3rd, where top officials were also present, the LG ordered the cutting of 1100 trees, a directive confirmed in Supreme Court proceedings. Bhardwaj contends that instead of using the land near the farmhouse for road widening, the trees were felled to favor individuals associated with the property.
