After tasting success with Kesari 2, Akshay Kumar returns to the commercial space with Housefull 5. According to early estimates, the Tarun Mansukhani-directed comic caper has collected in the range of Rs. 24 crores to Rs. 26 crores, surpassing all industry expectations.

The film has done well all across the board – be it single screens or multiplexes – and with a Bakri Eid Holiday on Saturday, the numbers are sure to see a surge. Housefull 5 is looking to collect around Rs. 12.25 crores across the national multiplex chains, which is a very good result.

The film will be aiming to hit the Rs. 100 crore mark in the opening weekend, which is a strong result. The on-ground reports are on the positive side, which means that the film will have a long run at the box office in the time to come.
