A day ago, the Kapoors and Bhatts came together to celebrate the birthday of their little angel Raha Kapoor in a lavish bash. The theme was jungle safari and the venue was beautifully decorated with animal cutouts and rainforest elements. Moreover, many people from the industry including the Kapoor family members like grandmother Neetu Kapoor, aunt Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Bhatt family including grandparents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Rozdan joined in the celebrations.
Alia Bhatt hosts Jungle-themed bash as Raha turns 2
Alia’s step-sister Pooja Bhatt took to social media to share several glimpses from the bash where she shared brief glimpses of the greenery and animal themed décor along with a beautiful three tier green cake with several animal figures being added to it. Along with that, it seems that the characters of popular cartoons were also invited. A thrilled grandfather Mahesh Bhatt decided to turn a kid again as he posed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse who attended the bash. Pooja also shared a photo of tattoo counter which was a part of the bash on her Instagram story.
On the other hand, grandmothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan reunited with their ladies squad which also included actress Neena Gupta. Photos of their frame-worthy photo with the entire gang together were shared by all of them on their respective social media handle. While Soni wrote, “When your gang shows up for you”, Neena posted the same picture and captioned it saying, “Achchi photo toh dalni padti hai na (You have to post it if it’s a good photo)”.
Earlier, on November 6, not just Alia Bhatt but her mother and ‘nani’ Soni Razdan also posted an adorable photo of Alia and Raha from one of their trips where Alia was fondly showing monkeys to her toddler daughter. She also penned a beautiful birthday message which read, “No feeling in the world beats being your grandma and having the privilege of capturing precious moments like these for posterity. A part of me wishes that you never grow up, Yet I am delighted to see you do just that ! Happy 2nd Birthday to our darling Raha We love you sooooo much”.
Other guests who were a part of the event included Kareena Kapoor Khan, filmmaker and Alia’s mentor Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, among others.
