Renowned composer Amit Trivedi has unveiled his latest album, AT Azaad, marking another significant step in his independent musical journey. The album brings together a diverse range of artists and sounds, offering a mix of party anthems, Punjabi rhythms, and soulful folk melodies. With Azaad Collab, Trivedi continues to experiment and expand his musical horizons, delivering a collection that appeals to a wide audience.

One of the standout tracks from the album is ‘Sunn Husna Di Pariye’, featuring Simran Choudhary, a rising star known for her unique blend of folk and contemporary sounds. Simran has captivated audiences with viral hits such as ‘Aje Na Jaa’, ‘Rehle Mere Kol’ (with Aditya Rikhari), and ‘Aayi Nayi’ from the highly anticipated Stree 2 soundtrack.
Reflecting on her collaboration with Amit Trivedi, Simran expressed her excitement, saying, “You know that feeling when you’ve admired a composer for years, learned from their music, and suddenly, you find yourself in the studio with them? It was surreal! Amit Sir gave me creative freedom – like a blank canvas to paint my own picture.”
Amit Trivedi, who has composed iconic albums for Lootera, Queen, Kedarnath, and Udta Punjab, also shared his admiration for Simran’s artistry. Speaking about their collaboration, he said, “I love collaborating with beautiful artists, and when I came across her profile through Instagram, I found out that she creates her own songs, writes, performs, dances, and I thought ‘Woah! Who is this talent, please get her to collaborate with me.’ She sings in Punjabi, Hindi, Rajasthani, English—it’s mind-blowing. She is so talented, and I am glad to have her as a part of this album.”
As a key track on AT Azaad, ‘Sunn Husna Di Pariye’ embodies the album’s spirit of musical freedom and exploration. With her distinctive voice and critically acclaimed EP Folkin Rani, Simran continues to break creative boundaries, making this collaboration a highly anticipated musical release.
