GUWAHATI: Assets of Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, the country’s second richest chief minister with a declared net worth of over Rs 132crore in 2019, have grown by over 100% to Rs 277crore in the last five years, according to the election affidavit he submitted while filing his nomination papers as a BJP candidate for the assembly elections in the state to be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls on April 19, reported.
Khandu has declared “interest on bank deposits, lease rents, agriculture, and salary and allowance of the CM” as the sources of his income. He has also declared assets worth over Rs 54crore held by his wife.
