India pacer Mohammed Siraj limped off the field during Day 2 of the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia in Brisbane on Sunday.
The 30-year-old was seen feeling the back of his knee midway through his eleventh over of the innings and after a brief conversation with the physio, proceeded back into the dressing room.

Siraj was in the middle of the seventh over of his spell, where he managed to keep things tight against Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. The fast bowler even came close to picking up the wicket of Smith but the Australian batter was saved by the on-field umpire’s call upon review. He had failed to offer a shot to a delivery that came in with the angle.
Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah gave India a solid start to the day, removing both openers in his first spell. After a brief vigil, Labuschagne too nicked one to Virat Kohli off a full, wide delivery from Nitish Reddy.
Siraj made his way back to the ground a few overs ahead of the scheduled Lunch break, thwarting fears of a serious problem that could handicap the Indian bowling attack.
