The interim Bangladesh government has declined an invitation extended by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to celebrate its 150-year journey citing restrictions of “non-essential foreign travel on state expence”. The acting director of Bangladesh Meteorological Department Mominul Islam, on Friday confirmed the decision.
