TIRUPATI: BCY party chief Bode Ramachandra Yadav promised to the people that a candidate from the backward communities (BCs) will be made the Chief minister of the state if his party is voted to power in the ensuing general elections.
Addressing an impressive roadshow followed by a public meeting at Anantapur on Wednesday, Ramachandra Yadav accused that both the ruling YSRCP as well as the Telugu Desam parties have not done any justice to the BCs or the Kapus and the SC-STs in the last five decades.
“The YSRCP and the TDP claim to be the champion of the SC-STs and the BC communities. Can either of these big parties promise to make a BC leader the Chief minister of the state”, the BCY chief questioned.
Ramachandra Yadav reiterated that if the BCY party is voted to power, leaders from the BC community, the SC-ST community and the Kapu community will be made the Chief ministers for 2:2:1 year terms at office.
