CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday defended the law-and-order in the state, saying it hurt her when people spoke “negatively of Bengal”, reports Debashis Konar. “I do not mind if people abuse me, but if people abuse Bengal by spreading canards in the name of law-and-order, it hurts me. They want to defame Bengal only to defame me,” she said.
