Ananya Pandey debuted with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff. Since then, the actress has taken a variety of different roles and won the hearts of many through her genuinity and talent. But fame comes with its downsides too. Ananya has been subjected to criticism and hate since her debut fueled by the debate of nepotism.Recently, Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Panday, opened up about watching her daughter be subjected to criticism and how she feels about it.
In a conversation with Indian Express, the ‘fabulous bollywood wife’ actor was asked how difficult it is, as a mother, to see her child being judged for everything, from movies to fashion to love. She said that it is very difficult and makes her feel really hurt and bad.

However, she acknowledged that her child has chosen to put themselves out there for judgment and it is okay to be judged. Though, Bhavana emphasized that while ‘unnecessary criticism is not okay,’ constructive comments are always better as they help everyone improve.

In an old conversation with PTI, Ananya Panday expressed that if she hadn’t been exposed to certain emotions, she probably wouldn’t be able to perform in a certain way. She stated that she is grateful for whatever has happened because it has allowed her to express herself through her work.

Professionally, Ananya was last seen alongside Sidhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav in Netflix’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The movie proved what a brilliant actress Ananya is and fans claimed that this is her best movie yet. The actress is also preparing for her debut series, Call Me Bae which is set to start streaming from September of 2024. Alongside Panday, the show boasts an ensemble cast including Mini Mathur, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vir Das, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, and Lisa Mishra.
