The United States military has conducted a sequence of attacks in Yemen targeting anti-ship ballistic missiles located in a region controlled by the Houthi rebels. This action comes in retaliation to the rebel group’s assaults, which have caused disruptions to shipping in the Red Sea.

On Friday, President Joe Biden labeled Yemen’s Houthi forces as a “terrorist” group, following a series of air strikes conducted overnight by American and British warplanes, ships, and submarines across Yemen.
