Bigg Boss 18 contestant Digvijay Singh Rathee has finally broken his silence on the allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Unnati and the controversy surrounding his leaked phone number.
In a recent interview, Digvijay opened up about his past relationship with Unnati, accusing her of cheating on him. However, in response, Unnati took to Instagram Live to share her side of the story, breaking down emotionally and claiming that it was, in fact, Digvijay who had cheated on her.
To support her claims, Unnati shared a screenshot, but in doing so, she accidentally exposed Digvijay’s phone number, leading to a major controversy. Following the incident, Digvijay issued a statement expressing his disappointment over the breach of privacy.
“I’ve always valued everyone’s privacy, which is why I chose to stay silent before and after the show. Despite contractual obligations, I stepped back from interviews to avoid controversies and prioritize peace for my family.” He explained that his team had encouraged him to do an interview ahead of his first music video release, but he hadn’t expected it to escalate into a controversy.
“Unfortunately, personal boundaries weren’t respected today. Leaking someone’s private number is never okay. Let’s continue to create a space where we support and uplift each other.”
After receiving backlash for the phone number leak, Unnati took to her Instagram stories to issue an apology, acknowledging that it was an impulsive mistake. “The number leak was a mistake on my part, and I deeply regret it. It was an impulsive decision, and the story has since been deleted.” “It’s tough dealing with accusations for something I didn’t do. I just wanted to share my side and clarify things. I respect everyone’s privacy, and it was never my intention to cause harm.”
