- Bihar assembly Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary, against whom the newly formed NDA government has moved a no-confidence motion said he will not resign before the commencement of the budget session on February 12. BJP leader Haribhushan Thakur also exuded confidence on NDA alliance victory in Bihar floor test. He said, “We will win the floor test with a comfortable margin. Nitish Kumar will remain our CM with two Deputy CMs and this govt will complete its term… Jitan Ram Manjhi is with us…”.
