Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Day 3 LIVE: Congress “ordered” its allies like West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Bihar CM Kumar to join its Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra as if they were its workers, JD-U spokesperson KC Tyagi said

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra News LIVE: A day after the sudden exit of Janta Dal (United) from the INDIA bloc, Rahul Gandhi’s ambitious ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is all set to enter Bihar on Monday. The Nitish Kumar-led party’s exit from the Mahagathbandhan, which consists of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress–is highly attributed to the grand old party’s failure to unite the regional parties on the seat-sharing arrangement and diverting focus majorly on Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Nyay Yatra.’ Reports suggested that Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) chief Kumar remained ‘non-committal’ about his participation in Congress’s Yatra as he was reportedly upset over delays in seat-sharing talks for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. After the dramatic political move, JD(U) blamed the Congress for the collapse of the INDIA bloc in Bihar, saying its leaders were interested in strengthening their party and not the opposition grouping.

Meanwhile, the first cabinet meeting of the new Nitish-led NDA government in Bihar will be held at 11.30 am today. In the meeting, along with the nomination of the Advocate General, a decision will be taken on the possible date of convening the session.
