NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released a list of candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
In Uttar Pradesh, the party has fielded seven candidates including Sudhanshu Trivedi, RPN Singh, Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, Sadhna Singh, Amarpal Maurya, Sangita Balwant, and Navin Jain.
In Bihar, the party is fielding Dr Dharmsheela Gupta and Dr Bhim Singh, representing the BJP’s choices for the state.Chhattisgarh will see Raja Devendra Pratap Singh as the BJP’s candidate for the Rajya Sabha.
In Haryana, the BJP has selected Subhash Barala, the former chief of the party in the state, as its candidate for the upcoming elections. Karnataka’s representative for the Rajya Sabha will be Narayana Krishanasa Bhandage.
In Uttarakhand, the BJP has chosen Mahendra Bhatt to represent the party in the Rajya Sabha. Lastly, West Bengal’s representative for the BJP in the upcoming elections will be Samik Bhattacharya.

Elections for 56 seats in the Rajya Sabha are set to take place on February 27.
