Former West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh married his party colleague Rinku Majumdar on Friday. The two have known each other since 2021.
The BJP leader tied the knot in a simple Vedic ceremony, with close relatives in attendance, at his residence in Kolkata.
Photos of the newlywed couple’s private wedding have surfaced on social media. In the pictures, Majumdar has dressed as a traditional Bengali bride, while Ghosh is in traditional Bengali groom attire.
The images show the bride smiling as she happily puts the varmala on the groom.
Despite being 60 years old, this is Ghosh’s first marriage. For Majumdar, it is her second marriage and she already has a son.
