His representative cautioned fans about fake profiles on social media, reminding them that Pitt has no official accounts and advising them to avoid unsolicited outreach. In a related case, five individuals were arrested in Spain for scamming women out of $350,000 by posing as a “fake Brad Pitt.” These scammers promised romantic relationships and fake investments to their victims. Among those arrested, three suspects were taken into custody in November, while two others were arrested in July, facing charges of fraud and forgery. Other celebrities, including Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp, have also warned fans about similar online scams.
