In a shocking incident from Chennai’s Perambur area, Bahujan Samaj Party state president Armstrong was allegedly hacked to death by six unidentified people on Friday.

The two-wheeler-borne gang attacked Armstrong, a former councillor of Chennai Corporation, near his house in Perambur inflicting grievous injuries on him, and fled.

The party’s state president was admitted to the Thousand Lamps Apollo for treatment, following the alleged attack on him.

He died on the way to the hospital, police said.

The cops are currently investigating the murder.

AIADMK General Secretary Palaniswami Condemns Murder

Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami took to his official X account and expressed his shock to hear the news of Armstrong’s death.

He strongly condemned the Vidya DMK chief alleging that he pushed law and order to such a level that crimes are committed without fear of police, government or the law.

BJP President K Annamalai Expresses Shock On Brutal Murder

BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai took to his official X account and expressed his shock on the brutal murder of the State President of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Thiru Armstrong in Chennai.

He said, ” Our thoughts and prayers are with his family & the cadres of the Bahujan Samaj Party at this time.”
