“The budget of India’s Mars mission (Mangalyaan) was less than even many Hollywood films made on space,” said Padma Shri Dr M Annadurai, well-known space scientist while talking about innovations in the face of challenges.
In his keynote address at the 10th anniversary celebration of Adrosonic, the Lucknow-based IT multinational with headquarters in Mumbai, in Goa, Annadurai — the man behind India’s Chandrayan-1 and Mars mission — imparted some sharp leadership lessons from space explorations, sharing his 36-year-journey with the ISRO.
Prof Indranil Manna, vice-chancellor, BIT Mesra, talked about the need to create synergy among the triple fields of science, engineering and technology in order to bridge the gap between industry and academia. He praised Adrosonic for its collaboration with BIT Mesra to set up an innovation lab on the campus to give an impetus to research.
While narrating the past 10 years’ journey of Adrosonic, its CEO Mayank said that innovation with care would be the mantra for his team for the next decade.
