Centre holds crucial meetings to address ethnic violence in Manipur: CM
IMPHAL: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday said that Central government held key meets to address the ongoing ethnic crisis in the state. The Manipur chief minister did not disclose the details of the meetings.
Singh revealed that the efforts are underway to start a dialogue between the groups involved to resolve misunderstanding. Singh stated that peace has returned due to combined efforts.
Since May last year, clashes netween Meiteis and Kukis have left 200 people dead in Manipur.
