CM orders timely completion of regularisation of MCH staff

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that the absorption into service of employees of the Kannur Government Medical College should be completed promptly. The decision, aimed at addressing employee concerns, was made during a meeting on Saturday (November 30) to discuss various issues, including the approval of appointments within the Medical College.

The Chief Minister directed that the Finance department resolve the files related to the absorption into service within three weeks. Additionally, the granting of interim relief to employees will be reviewed, with a decision expected soon. The Finance department has also been tasked with identifying and allocating funds to settle arrears for the Medical College staff.

The meeting was attended by Health Minister Veena George, Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan, Additional Chief Secretary Rajan. N. Khobragade, Finance and Expenditure Secretary Keshvendra Kumar, Medical Education Director Dr. Thomas Mathew, and several senior officials, including the Principal and Superintendent of Kannur Medical College.
