CM Shinde and cabinet to visit Ayodhya on February 5 | India News

MUMBAI: Chief minister Eknath Shinde and his entire cabinet including Deputy CM’s Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar is set to visit the newly constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on February 5. Officials said that delegations of ministers from across states have been given designated dates to visit the Ram temple and CM Shinde is likely to visit the temple on Feb 5 with his cabinet.The Maharashtra cabinet has been given February 5 as the date to visit the Ram temple, officials said.
Shinde had last week said that he and his two Deputy CM’s Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will not attend the Ram temple opening in Ayodhya during the consecration ceremony. CM Shinde had said he will visit the Ram temple after a few days with his entire cabinet and all ruling party MPs, MLAs and officials. CM Shinde said there was no point in him going alone for the Rame temple opening and the entire cabinet going to Ayodhya to pray will be special. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray didn’t attend the consecration ceremony and went to Nashik’s Kalaram temple even though he got an invitation by speed post last week.
CM Shinde had received the invitation from the Ram Mandir Trust for the Ram temple consecration at Ayodhya. Shinde was given the invitation by RSS and VHP office bearers who handed over the invitation at CM Shinde’s residence in Thane.
