NEW DELHI: Congress on Thursday sent a showcause notice to its spokesperson Alok Sharma for his remarks alleging former Madhya Pradesh unit chief Kamal Nath of sabotaging assembly elections which the party lost to BJP “despite a perceived sentiment in its favour”.
Sharma has been asked to reply within two days failing which will lead to “appropriate action” against him.
