Tempers boiled over as Real Madrid ended the Copa del Rey final with three red cards against Barcelona.

First, Lucas Vazquez was dismissed in the 120th minute for protesting a decision and storming onto the pitch, according to referee De Burgos Bengoetxea.

Soon after, Antonio Rudiger saw red for throwing an ice cube towards the referee from the technical area. The object missed, but Rudiger reacted aggressively after being sent off. He reportedly tried twice to throw an ice pack before teammates like Mendy and Vallejo intervened.

After the final whistle, protests continued. Initial reports suggested Vinicius Jr. was sent off, but the official match report confirmed it was Jude Bellingham. The referee wrote that Bellingham “approached in an aggressive manner” and needed to be restrained.

Rudiger now faces a potentially long ban because of the severity of his actions, as detailed in the referee’s official notes.
