Cyclone Fengal: Central and State agencies are working tirelessly to deal with the emergency, says Governor Ravi 

Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi said that the rain induced by cyclone Fengal had severely disrupted normal life in the northern coastal regions and adjoining areas of Tamil Nadu. “Our people are facing immense hardship. In this difficult time, I appeal to our people to remain indoors and avoid going out unless absolutely necessary. Kindly follow the advisories issued by authorities. Central and State agencies are working tirelessly to deal with this emergency,” he said. Some voluntary organisations, too, are doing their best to mitigate the people’s sufferings. Let us remain optimistic and patient in dealing with this natural disaster, Mr. Ravi added.
