The BJP is poised to form a government in Delhi for the first time since 1998, with the latest Election Commission trends showing the saffron party ahead in 48 of the 70 assembly seats.

As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delivered a resounding defeat to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday, Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi said that just as Delhi, NDA will form the government in Bihar, where the assembly elections are due later this year.
“Dilli toh jhanki hai, Bihar abhi baaki hai… Jai NDA (Delhi is just a glimpse, Bihar is yet to come. Jai NDA)”, he said in a post on X.

Manjhi also took a jibe at Congress over party’s allegations on EVMs and voter list saying, “Congress has been crying since the beginning that there is a problem with the EVMs or the voter list.”
On Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi, the Union Minister said, “I advise Rahul Gandhi to think before speaking. He should attain maturity, he is not a child anymore.

The BJP is poised to form a government in Delhi for the first time since 1998, with the latest Election Commission trends showing the saffron party ahead in 48 of the 70 assembly seats and AAP in 22.
The biggest blows to the AAP came as party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia lost from their seats – New Delhi and Jangpura – respectively, to BJP’s Parvesh Singh Sahib and Tarvinder Singh Marwah.
